Beeswax wraps

£8.00

Details

The natural and sustainable alternative to plastic wrap. Beeswax wraps can be used to cover leftovers, wrap sandwiches, wrap greens, salad and herbs, keep bread fresh for longer and prove dough. Simply warm the wrap between your hands to soften the wax slightly, then wrap around your container or item of food. The tacky texture of the wrap will help hold it in place.

Looked after, they can be reused for up to a year and if rewaxed, for much longer. Just remember to avoid anything that involves heat near them, do not use with raw fish or meat, and avoid storing anything super acidic or oily in the wraps.

These beautiful floral and bee wraps are handmade in Derbyshire by Steph from Steph’s Sustainable Stuff, Chesterfield.
