Tawashi mug brush

£5.00

Details

The Tawashi “Mug” brush from Save Some Green is made from coir, a natural fibre extracted from the outer husks of coconut, making it a sustainable and biodegradable kitchen utensil. You can use it to clean anything and it won’t damage non-stick pans. Its unique shape means it will effectively clean all sorts of shaped mugs, dishes, pots and pans, making the whole experience of washing up that little bit easier.

Better still, it will last. How many times do you have to replace a non-recyclable plastic dish brush, that will end up in landfill, in a year? I switched to using the Tawashi mug brush in my kitchen and am proud to say, I am still using the same one I bought in January 2019 (it does get regularly sterilised, in case you think that is grim!). So it truly is value for money, as well as a fantastic eco-friendly option. When it finally retires from cleaning, simply throw it in the compost bin.
